Fred began his career as a licensed broker in 1985 and quickly developed a knack for marketing and selling in a difficult market.This was during a time of extremely high interest rates and a weak economy. His tenacious spirit landed him a contract with the Federal Government's newly appointed RTC program (Resolution Trust Corporation) to liquidate government foreclosure properties. This included management, leasing and the sale of commercial, multifamily, unfinished residential condominiums and undeveloped residential plats. Although he has more than 30 years of experience in real estate, he continues to innovate and track real estate business trajectory.
A world traveler and trend spotter, in 2005 he anticipated the coming real estate crash and sold most of his real estate holdings at the peak of the market and moved to China in 2006. As a top producer, this shocked many of his friends, clients and colleagues.
He lived in Shanghai and Shenzhen and started a successful business. Again, spotting trends of political and economic turmoil in China, Fred sold his business and returned to Bellevue in 2016 and jumped back into real estate brokerage and the land development business.
His story is remarkable.
